Title of open position: Sex Offender Therapist

Brief position description: We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Sex Offender Therapist to provide therapeutic services to individuals who have committed sexual offenses. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in forensic psychology or a related field and a passion for helping clients rehabilitate, reintegrate into society, and address the underlying causes of harmful behaviors. We believe in breaking the cycle of abuse and conceptualize much of our work as preventing future victims. We therefore offer trauma-informed care and trauma treatment in the context of offense specific treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group therapy to clients with a history of sexual offenses, adhering to evidence-based practices.
- Conduct psychological assessments, including risk assessments and evaluation of treatment needs.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, working collaboratively with clients to address psychological and behavioral issues.
- Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and provide regular updates to probation officers, case managers, and other relevant personnel.
- Assist in the management of client behavior, applying appropriate therapeutic interventions to promote safety, accountability, and positive behavioral change.
- Maintain thorough, accurate, and confidential documentation of all client interactions, including treatment plans and progress notes.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including probation officers, social workers, and legal professionals, to support client rehabilitation and ensure compliance with treatment protocols.
- Stay current with best practices, legal guidelines, and therapeutic modalities specific to the treatment of sexual offenders. To include trauma informed practices and SOMB (Sex Offender Management Board) Standards and Guidelines.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, training, and supervision as required.
- Adhere to all ethical standards and legal requirements concerning client confidentiality and professional conduct.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in psychology, social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field.
- Licensed therapist or candidate (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LPCC, MFTC, SWC, LSW or equivalent) in Colorado.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Knowledge of legal and ethical issues regarding confidentiality and mandated reporting requirements.
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries and cope with emotionally challenging situations (with the support of a strong team, if needed).
- Willingness to learn about and address root causes of sexual abuse.
Work environment:
- May require some evening or weekend hours depending on client schedules.
- In-person group and individual therapy in an outpatient setting in various locations in Colorado.
Compensation:
- Fixed amount payments for completed services. Paid weekly.
- Benefits include supervision, trainings, and end of year bonuses.
- There are additional opportunities to work with Nova therapists to create trainings for large audiences, network with professionals from various fields, write curriculum, and provide testimony, if desired.

Organization: Accountability in Rehabiltative and Restorative Treatment, LLC
Title of open position: Therapist
Salary of open position: depending on qualifications
Brief position description: Small but successful therapeutic practice look for a teammate to join us. The ideal candidate will have experience working with adult men who have committed sexual offenses, licensed in the State of Colorado and are a listed treatment provider with the Sex Offender Management Board (SOMB). We are willing to help someone who is just entering the field but a Master's Degree in counseling, social work, psychology, etc. is a must. Also, this is a contract or "pay for service" independent contractor position (I-9). Depending on your experience, you can start with a full case load of up to 30 clients. While you are able to set your own schedule, group sessions are typically Monday - Wednesday starting from 4:00 - 5:30pm and then 6:00 - 7:30pm. Some basic job description is as follows:
· Provide individual and group therapy sessions for court ordered sex offense-specific treatment to adult men who have committed sexual offenses.
· Assure psychotherapeutic sex offense-specific treatment compliance with professional standards and best practices on as defined by the Sex Offender Management Board.
· Assure compliance with State and Federal Standards concerning the maintenance of client’s files, documentation and reports to various court jurisdictions.
· Establish and maintain multilateral coordination, education and investment into the safe management of men whom are convicted of sexual offenses.
· Oversight of short and long tern sex offense-specific and psychosocial treatment planning and programming for clients.
· Give testimony as a witness in a court of law concerning a client’s progress or lack thereof.

Title: DVOMB Approved Provider with P.R.O.V.E. counseling.
Location: Fort Collins, CO

Summary: The candidate will case manage clients and co-facilitate domestic violence treatment groups in our Fort Collins location with the expectation of increasing client load and potentially moving into managing the entire practice.
Minimum Qualifications:

Active registration in DORA;
Colorado DVOMB Certified Approved Full Operating or Associate Level Provider
Preferred Qualifications:
