2025 Statewide Community Corrections Conference: Empowering Change

We are happy to announce that our Annual Conference will be held Oct 21-22,  in Thornton, CO.

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!

Early Bird Pricing will end September 16, 2025
Registration will close October 10th, 2025 at 11:59 PM

The OCC Conference includes topics for a variety of audiences and levels of experience in the adult criminal justice field (all types of Community Corrections program staff, Board members and staff, DOC, Judicial, treatment providers, and other stakeholders). Attend the keynote session and three 75-minute breakout sessions of your choosing each day. Employee Awards Ceremony, conference game and prizes, breakfast, lunch and snacks included. Please forward this to any contacts you have in the field that may be interested. This will be a great event to network and connect!

2025 Community Corrections Conference: Call for Presenters

On behalf of the 2025 Statewide Community Corrections Conference planning committee, the Division of Criminal Justice's Office of Community Corrections is pleased to present this Call for Presentations. Please come and share your knowledge on October 21st and 22nd, 2025 at the Delta Hotel (Northglenn, CO).

The theme of this year's conference is, "Empowering Change."  Presentations should have an emphasis on knowledge and skills that will empower the field to cultivate change.  Applications are sought for 75-minute breakout sessions for a variety of audiences and levels of experience in the adult criminal justice field (Community Corrections program staff and administration, Community Corrections Board members and staff, DOC/Parole, Judicial, other stakeholders).

Please forward this call for presenters applications to anyone who may be interested in presenting a breakout session at our 2025 Community Corrections Conference - Empowering Change.

Outpatient Correctional Treatment Funds (CTF)

Community Corrections Stakeholders, 

Based on feedback from all of you and the data on the utilization of funding provided by the Correctional Treatment Board for treatment with those with substance use treatment needs, we have updated the policy on the utilization of these funds. Most of the policy has remained the same with the most significant changes including:

Clarification on allowance to utilize the funds for DUI Level II 4+ Treatment
Increase in allowance of Recovery Support Services up to 25%
Edited list of Recovery Support Services to align with Correctional Treatment Board Guidance

Office of Community Corrections CCC-020: Incident Notification and Resolution

You asked for it and we did it. There is an updated Critical Incident Form for use by stakeholders to report standards-prescribed incidents at their facilities. The updated form includes the following changes:

This form can now be used as the initial PREA report.
More space for the incident description.
More space for the status of the incident and the actions being taken. 
A new section for follow-up information received/discovered after the initial report.
