Position Available at PFA Counseling & Assessment

DV Therapist - Part-Time, Temporary (needed November - February, Monday & Tuesday evenings from 5:30pm - 8:30pm)

This is a part-time contract position working with court-mandated clients who have committed domestic violence offenses and/or other violence related crimes. Clients are referred to the agency through probation departments, and are required to complete treatment following the Colorado DVOMB standards. Potential long-term employment opportunity dependent on performance.

Location

Lakewood, CO - All Groups and most other services currently provided ONLINE

Job Duties

Conduct group treatment using DVOMB material provided by PFA, attending monthly peer DV supervision,, Multidisciplinary Treatment Team meetings with probation and victim's advocate. Competitive Pay and benefits available to full time employees.

Relapse Prevention Therapist, Part-Time

This is a flexible and dynamic position working with court-mandated clients who have committed various crimes. Clients are referred to the agency through probation departments, and are required to complete treatment as part of their supervision of the courts.  There is potential for long-term permanent employment dependent on performance.

Job Duties 

This position will be focused on mental wellness individual therapy, substance abuse/relapse prevention groups and substance abuse evaluations and intakes. Employees must be self-driven, a minimum of a CACIII (LAC Preferred).  Candidates must be willing to work 2 evenings per week and some weekdays (set your own daytime schedule).

Position Available at PFA Counseling & Assessment

Clients are referred to the agency through probation departments, and are required to complete treatment following the Colorado DVOMB standards. Employee must be self-driven, a DVOMB approved provider, and willing to work nighttime hours on some weekdays. Employee will be taking over the position from the current treatment provider, and will be able to step into an established program with existing clients.


Location: Aurora, CO

Job Duties:  4-5 days per week (typically 11:00am-8:30pm), 4-8 Groups per week at 1.5 hours per group, Individual mental health counseling with clients weekly/biweekly/monthly, Intake evaluations to place clients into treatment, Potential to complete DV evaluations and mental health evaluations, Monthly peer DV supervision, Multidisciplinary Treatment Team meetings with probation and victim's advocate monthly.
