GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides program oversight and treatment services for the Community Responsibility Program (CRP). Conducts assessment interviews, offense specific groups, individual/family reunification/victim impact sessions, and crisis intervention.

  • Maintain SOSTCC contract compliance
  • Assist with referral review and assessment for appropriateness in the CRP program (based on acceptance criteria).
  • Interviews and consultation on persons appropriate for the CRP community.
  • Facilitation of group and individual therapy sessions
  • Provide direct short-term intervention services to stabilize clients; crisis interventions, and safety evaluations
  • Accurately complete regulatory agency and S.O.W. required documentation
  • Crisis on-call response
  • Participate in weekly Community Supervision Team meeting
  • Provide input on and follow-up on client needs assessment and appropriate programming.
  • Serve as a resource person for case management and security staff in dealing with difficult situations and clients (sex offenders).
  • Facilitate additional therapeutic groups within Clinical Services, as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience: Master’s Degree with a Full Operating Level SOMB provider is required for the sex offense related programs, with a minimum of three years of experience preferred. Experience in half-way house/supervised residential environment and/or corrections are preferred. Previous work experience with sex offenders (specific) is preferred.

Licensure(s) and Certification(s): Certified Full Operating Level SOMB Provider

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk and sit for various amounts of time. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 50 pounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position functioning in a 24/7 operation. Shifts are eight (8) or ten (10) hours in length and hours and days of work may vary depending on operational requirements.
