In July 2020, The Office of the State Auditor released a legislative audit of the Sex Offender Management Board (SOMB). This document summarizes the board's progress towards fully implementing those recommendations. In the interest of transparency and accountability, the SOMB has published a detailed progress dashboard.

In July 2020, The Office of the State Auditor (OSA) released a legislative audit of the Sex Offender Management Board (SOMB). The SOMB is working with the Colorado Department of Public Safety Compliance and Professional Standards Office, the department's internal auditing operation, to provide accountability for implementing the recommendations of the audit.
