Colorado Sexual Assault Kit Tracking System
HB 23-1199 was signed by Governor Jared Polis on May 25, 2023. The act required the Department of Public Safety, by June 30, 2025, to develop and maintain a statewide system for victims of sexual assault to monitor the status of their sexual assault evidence collection kit.
